Terms for learning with BRANAL Maths.
These terms set simple expectations for tutor-issued accounts, online learning activities, and class bookings.
Use your own assigned account, complete work honestly, treat others respectfully, and ask for help whenever something is unclear.
1. The tutoring service
BRANAL Maths provides extra-class tutoring support, original syllabus-aligned questions, homework, independent practice, progress information, and class booking. Tutoring supports learning but cannot guarantee a particular examination grade or result.
2. Assigned accounts
- Each student must use only the account assigned to them.
- Login details must not be shared with another person.
- The tutor may reset, suspend, or deactivate an account to protect the learner or the service.
- A parent or guardian should help younger learners keep their account secure.
3. Homework and practice
Students should submit their own work and use hints or worked solutions as learning support. Automated marking helps with immediate feedback, while the tutor remains responsible for reviewing learning needs and correcting content where necessary.
4. Classes and bookings
Available classes are offered as one-hour sessions beginning on the hour. A booking is recorded when the portal confirms it. Changes, cancellations, fees, and missed-class arrangements follow the terms agreed with the tutor during enrolment.
5. Respectful and safe use
Do not misuse the platform, attempt to access another account, interfere with the service, upload harmful material, or use tutoring communications to harass another person. Safeguarding concerns are handled under the Safeguarding page.
6. Learning content
BRANAL Maths questions, hints, marking points, diagrams, and worked solutions are original tutoring content. Exam-board specifications guide topic coverage, but BRANAL Maths is not endorsed by or affiliated with Pearson or another exam board.
Content is for the assigned learner's personal study and must not be copied, resold, republished, or used to build another question bank without written permission.
7. Availability and changes
BRANAL Maths may update features, questions, availability, or these terms to keep the service accurate, safe, and useful. Important changes affecting enrolled learners will be communicated through the normal tutoring contact channel.
